Committed to Service Before, During and After
August 2010 - Massaro CM Services, LLC strives to provide the highest possible level of services to its clients before, during, and after construction. In today’s world of competitive bidding, owners are faced with the tough decision of accepting the lowest bids and not always realizing or being able to take advantage of the best value. This value is never more apparent than when owners experience problems after all construction is completed, contracts paid, and warranties are expired. This is when they are really able to judge the level of commitment from their service provider, evaluating how valuable that customer service is to their program, and fully realize the importance of how that relationship has been managed and maintained. A recent example of Massaro CM Services’ continuing commitment to its clients is the Bethel Park School District. The following excerpt is from Mr. Leonard Corazzi, director of finance and operations for the district, January 11, 2010:
“I am very pleased to provide a letter of reference for Massaro CM Services, LLC. The Massaro team was selected to be the District’s Agency Construction Manager for our 2007 Capital Improvements / Asset Protection Campaign. This project consisted of renovations and new construction on five elementary schools and two middle schools throughout the district. Bethel Park School District experienced an unfortunate occurrence with Neil Armstrong Middle School that could have resulted in a sizeable expense to the district had Massaro CM Services not taken the lead and worked untiringly on our behalf. One of the renovations to this particular middle school involved renovations to the ceilings, light fixtures, and electrical upgrades to the auditorium. Consequently the ballasts in one hundred fifty light fixtures that had been installed were faulty due to a manufacturer’s defect. After over two years of replacing light bulbs and scratching our heads, I reached out to the Massaro team in the hope that they would be able to diagnose the issue. They stepped immediately into action. They coordinated the engineering to assess the problem…and managed and negotiated a rectification from the manufacturer for replacement of the defective ballasts. Massaro CM Services is currently coordinating and managing the replacement of the faulty materials at no costs to Bethel Park School District.
As the director of finance and operations for the district, I work directly with this team and personally cannot say enough about the experience.
