Estimating
Massaro CM Services’ architectural/structural and mechanical estimators will have regular team meetings to ensure that all aspects of the project have been properly addressed and evaluated. These team meetings will be used to review construction costs, project costs, preconstruction and construction schedules, long lead items, project phasing and site logistics.
Design Review
In our regular meetings with the design team, we review, discuss and debate the assumptions and qualifications represented in the construction estimate, project estimate, schedules, constructability and value engineering recommendations. Revisions are made to the project documents as required and presented to the owner for consideration, approval, and procurement.
Scheduling
Massaro will establish milestone completion dates for insertion into the bid packages, tying those dates to contractual performance. Once the construction team has been selected, we work as a team to infill critical path activities to create a realistic, achievable schedule for all contractors. As the project proceeds, we monitor the schedule and identify those activities that begin to fall behind or otherwise have negative impact on the critical path. We will work with all stakeholders to establish a recovery schedule, getting us back on course to achieving the determined completion date.
